We can help maximize patients' functional status, independence, psychosocial adjustment and more.

Our ANS/ABI system is proven to help physicians differentiate vascular from neuropathic symptoms and based on significant user feedback, our device is a unique Medical Device Data System that makes a difference. We can also assist with billing, technical support and training.

Early detection can be simple.

The ANS/ABI device focuses on early detection and follow-up of complications of chronic metabolic diseases such as Diabetes. This system includes the following tests to determine these clinical outcomes:

  • Sudomotor function tests – sympathetic skin response

  • Photo-plethysmography analysis – using an oximeter. This includes heart rate variability analysis and spectral analysis of the oximeter waveform.

  • Cardiac Autonomic Reflex Tests or EWING Tests: which include The Vasalva Maneuver, Deep Breathing exercises, Postural changes, Ankle Brachial Index (OR ABI ) measurement using pneumo-plethysmography

Autonomic, Vascular and Cardio-metabolic Risk Assessments

  • Differentiating the patient symptom causes.

  • Early detection of chronic metabolic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and vascular disease.

  • Early detection of ANS and vascular complications.

  • Treatment management of type 2 diabetes using scores, Cardiovascular and hypoglycemia risk markers.

Autonomic Nervous System Test (ans)

This test is a powerful diagnostic tool that can assess the communication from the brain to various organs. It is performed to help establish the health of a person’s autonomic nervous system. The results give doctors insight for recommendations on how to better maintain autonomic balance which can reduce complications of chronic disease and premature death.

The ANS is a simple, painless test that lasts from 7 – 15 minutes. During these few minutes, patients perform a series of actions while the ANS system monitors the body’s response.

aNKLE-BRACHIAL INDEX TEST (ABI)

This test is a quick, reimbursable and noninvasive way to check for risk of peripheral artery disease (PAD). Those who suffer are at an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and leg pain.

During the test a technician will take blood pressure in both the arms and legs using a special inflatable cuff. As measuring begins, an ultrasound Doppler device is pressed on the skin. The device uses sound waves to produce images and hear the pulse. Test results are a comparison of blood pressure measured at the ankles with the blood pressure measured at the arms, which can indicate a blockage.
